Unseen by Design

My name is Mário Moura. I’ve been writing about design since 2004, mainly in Portuguese blogs, newspapers, and magazines. I teach history, design criticism, and editorial design at Porto University, Portugal.

I’ve authored three books, Design em Tempos de Crise (Design in Times of Crisis), O Design Que o Design Não Vê (Design Unseen by Design), A Força da Forma (The Force of Form).

I curated several exhibitions, among them A Força da Forma, at the Porto Design Biennale 2019, A Biblioteca na Biblioteca, at the Museum of Contemporary Art of Serralves (with Ricardo Nicolau), and Páginas Inquietas (with Susana Gaudêncio).
